inSign combines simple and intuitive digital signing with a high level of security, flexibility and personalised service for businesses and organisations.
What does inSign stand for?
As a German specialist in electronic signatures, inSign has stood for digital sovereignty, data protection and reliable solutions for over 15 years, and can be used for everything from simple signing processes to the bespoke requirements of large and regulated organisations.
The software, developed in Germany, enables legally binding electronic signatures and supports simple, advanced and qualified electronic signatures (EES, FES and QES) in accordance with eIDAS and ZertES.

Who is behind inSign?
The whole team works tirelessly on our signature software, putting their heart and soul into it. Our customers particularly value the personal interaction and support we provide.
Our managing directors Adrian and Martin have been steering the company with a shared vision since 2022.
Anju works agilely in the Scrum team as a full-stack developer and ensures that requirements find their way into our software.
As part of the support team, Wiebke is the first point of contact for questions about inSign 365 and regularly shares her knowledge in inSign webinars.
Christina is part of the marketing team and is responsible for inSign’s presence on all channels and providing information about e-signatures.
Mirko has been an integral part of inSign for years and, as Product Owner, always keeps an eye on the big picture.

inSign GmbH is an IT service provider based in Marzling near Freising with around 30 employees.
Origin and development of inSign
2011
The product inSign was developed in 2011 as a result of an internal research project at iS2 AG.
2013
2014
Initially, signatures could be provided synchronously, e.g. during a meeting.
Since 2014, it has also been possible for those involved in the process to edit and sign documents asynchronously.
2015
2018
For a long time, inSign was only available as an enterprise solution for large companies and corporations. In 2018, the cloud solution ‘inSign smart business’ was launched. The target group is small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as self-employed and freelancers.
2020
In the same year, inSign received the BITMi certification ‘Software Made and Hosted in Germany’. In 2020, iS2 AG as a whole also underwent the ‘VdS 10000’ information security certification.
2021
2022
At the end of 2022, inSign GmbH was founded and spun off from iS2 Intelligent Solution Services AG. The new owner is BSI Business Systems Integration Deutschland GmbH.
