InSeven Group opts for e-Signature inSign

An interview with Dominik Eberhardt (Head of HR)

As an independent insurance broker for private and corporate clients, InSeven combines the digital age with personal and competent consulting. Since the beginning of the year, the company has been using the electronic signature solution inSign. The customers are delighted. In the interview, Dominik Eberhardt gave us some insights behind the scenes.

Which criteria played a role when selecting a signature provider?

“We tested various options. We noticed that many programs do not offer a “ fraud-proof” signature with documentation, and in some cases, loading and editing documents was very cumbersome and could not be implemented quickly. When deciding to use inSign, the factors that were particularly important to us were “legal certainty,” “ mobile and remote signatures,” as well as a “template function.”

In which areas / processes do you use inSign?

“inSign is now used by us in almost all areas and processes. In particular, these include mandates with our clients and the signing of applications.”

Please describe a typical use case in more detail.

“The most frequent use case currently is the signing of our mandate agreement. That forms the basis of a collaboration and clearly defines our obligations. We present our company as well as our services, and then go straight to inSign. With a template, we can immediately enter the customer data, which then automatically fills the other fields in the form. We review the agreement live with our client in the program. If there are no questions left, an SMS is sent with a signing link, and the documents can then be handed over.”

What measures did you take to successfully implement the new tool?

“Learning by doing. The software is very intuitive — so no training was necessary.”

Which positive changes have you already observed? How do your clients react to the electronic signature solution?

“With our clients — especially younger ones — the process is very well received. Overall, the procedure is perceived as positive, modern and environmentally friendly. Our paper filing has been significantly reduced, and there is no longer a need to scan documents. Everything works faster and easier.”

What happens once the document is fully signed?

“After the signature, our clients receive the document by email — optionally password-protected. We then further process the documents by passing them to our product partners for the creation of the contracts. The electronic signature from inSign is also accepted by our partners as a legally binding signature.”

What do you hope for the future with inSign?

“Tough question… inSign is a tool that assists us in client consultations and allows us to sign documents remotely during online meetings. For the future, we simply hope that the tool continues to work so smoothly and that we will continue to handle it very well.”

Your conclusion?

“inSign has supported our processes and has made our everyday work much easier. It’s also amazing to watch a signature made on a smartphone appear instantly on the screen.”
