Leading commercial vehicle manufacturer implements inSign digital signature

Electronic signature solution integrated into the system

Daimler Truck Service Cards GmbH & Co. KG uses the electronic signature solution inSign connect to make the entire application process for its workshop cards for truck and bus customers digital and efficient. Seamless integration into the existing CRM system has enabled the entire process, from data entry to signing, to be fully automated. The result: less manual work, faster processing and significantly improved data quality.

When selecting an electronic signature solution, the company placed particular emphasis on finding a trustworthy provider whose solution could be seamlessly integrated into existing processes. A transparent price-performance model also played a decisive role.

Digitisation of card applications

A key reason for introducing digital signatures was the digitisation of workshop card applications. Until now, these required a handwritten signature. With the further development of the card application into an online process, the introduction of an electronic signature was the logical next step in order to fully automate the entire process. As a result, applications are now accepted exclusively in digital form, which not only makes the process more efficient, but has also significantly improved the data quality of incoming applications.

Implementation via REST API

The solution was connected directly to the existing CRM system via an API. Technical specifications, tutorials and advice from the inSign team and the internal IT department supported the implementation.

Virtually maintenance-free solution

Once successfully connected, the implemented solution runs virtually maintenance-free. Adjustments or enhancements are only necessary if new requirements arise.

Automated processes

Currently, card applications are primarily signed via inSign. The process is fully automated: customers enter their data directly on the website in the online card application, which is then transmitted to the CRM system. If the application cannot be assigned to an existing customer, a new prospect is automatically created and the signature process is started via the API. After the digital signature has been provided, the CRM system receives confirmation of the successful signature and automatically initiates the next steps in the process, such as sanctions list checks.
