A field report from the insurance industry
Die Bayerische consistently relies on digital processes to simplify workflows and provide customers and brokers with a modern, seamless experience. A key role is played by the electronic signature solution inSign which is used internally and is also integrated into the TAA process via Bay4all.
In the interview, Daniel Mamrak, Head of Sales Systems, shares his experience with the solution, its ease of use, and the benefits for everyone involved. He also provides insights into the further development of inSign and an outlook on upcoming innovations, including AI-based signature validation.
You have been using our inSign Enterprise solution for over 10 years. In which processes is the electronic signature primarily used?
“At die Bayerische, we use inSign in two ways: firstly, as a standalone application in the back office, and secondly, fully integrated into our Bay4all pricing and quotation process. Both applications are individually tailored to our internal processes.”
How long did the integration or implementation of the product take?
“The backoffice version is based on the standard inSign solution which we only parametrised and configured according to our requirements. The integration into the TAA process was significantly more extensive, as it had to take our specific specifications into account. The project proceeded as planned and was successfully implemented step by step.”
The solution is reliable, secure, and proven in practice. It also integrates very well with existing systems.

How satisfied are you with your personal contact person and the support provided by inSign?
“Very satisfied. Inquiries are responded to promptly and we consistently receive competent and practice oriented answers.”
How user-friendly do you consider inSign to be?
“Given the complexity, I would describe inSign as user-friendly.”
How do your customers benefit from the electronic signature solution?
“inSign supports our digital workflows in the backoffice and makes the overall process more efficient. In the TAA process, the electronic signature provides a noticeable acceleration. This benefits both our customers, who can conveniently complete their contracts digitally, and our brokers, who save time during consultation sessions.”
Has inSign changed since its introduction into your processes?
“Yes, inSign has continuously evolved. Over the years, numerous new features have been added, making its use even easier and more flexible.”
Would you recommend inSign to other insurance companies?
“Absolutely. The solution is reliable, secure and tried and tested. And it integrates very well into existing systems.”
Are there any future plans involving inSign?
“Yes, we are currently planning the introduction of AI-based signature validation. The goal is to review and issue insurance applications as fully automated as possible in the future. If the AI detects any irregularities, the application is automatically forwarded for manual review. This way, we combine efficiency with security.”
