InSign im Einsatz bei der Debeka

Electronic signatures as an elementary building block for modern contractual transactions

Debeka has found inSign to be a software for electronic signatures that not only inspires and fulfils sales requirements, but also saves on other investment and maintenance costs as a standard solution. In a short interview, Andreas Rosemeier (Front-End Sales Services Department) tells us more about the integration and the planned use of inSign.

What convinced you to integrate inSign into your internal and external workflows?

One crucial point was definitely the contemporary modern implementation of digital contract signing for our members and customers.

The strength of evidence offered for electronic signatures was also relevant in the selection process.

In addition, our sales staff were increasingly confronted with the topic and passed on key requirements to us. The advanced electronic signature (AES), the qualified electronic signature (QES) and the high adaptability of the inSign application to our processes were requirements that have now been met.

In addition, the flexibility offered during the actual signing process was very important and relevant for the selection of inSign. With this tool, for example, we have the option of providing signatures in several ways. Debeka had already had very positive experiences with the online counselling tool “Snapview” and the integration of inSign there. This also played a role in the selection process.”

Our current target is that inSign will be employed for the majority of signature processes – both internal and external – at Debeka.

How will you use inSign?

“We will integrate inSign externally integrated as a cloud application. With this scenario, we hope to achieve better scalability of the application, greater flexibility with regard to usage behaviour, and reduced internal administrative effort.

Furthermore, this enables us to sign electronically for specific processes regardless of time and place. Last but not least, we want to save on other investment and maintenance costs and therefore rely on the standard solution from inSign.”

How do you plan to introduce inSign?

“The introduction will initially take place as part of our corporate client business and for selected internal processes this year. Work is also currently underway bringing inSign onboard. In the future, further products and applications will be implemented using the electronic signature from inSign. Our current goal is for inSign to cover the majority of signature processes – both internal and external – at Debeka.”

What else would you like to tell us?

“We look forward to a successful and trusting business partnership with you.”
