Interview with Moritz Ruffing (Managing Director)
simCura Service GmbH provides outpatient care, support and help in the home. Professionally trained carers look after and care for their patients in all areas including basic home care, treatment care, dementia care and more.
Since the beginning of the year, the outpatient care service has been using the electronic signature solution inSign. This means that many tedious paper processes can be digitised. Moritz Ruffing, Managing Director of simCura, tells us more about this in an interview.
What has impressed you about inSign? What was important to you?
“The decisive factors for inSign were hosting in Germany and GDPR compliance. I couldn’t find any other provider that met this first point in my research.”
How do you use inSign in the outpatient care service?
“We mainly use inSign for the signature processes in our HR department. This is employment contracts, attachments, staff confirmations, etc. We also try to track client contracts through it, although not many of our clients can be reached by email at the moment.”
What has changed since the introduction of the electronic signature solution?
“The savings in paper, toner and postage from the digitalisation of the HR signature processes are very impressive. Employees in the onboarding process get to know us as a progressive and digital employer. Plus, we can all work across locations in a much less complicated way.”
Which inSign feature do you use most often?
“For Word documents we use the Word add-in, otherwise the form editor, to put signature fields in PDF documents.”
How happy are you with our support?
“Even though the first and so far only problem has not yet been solved, I feel well supported.”
Would you recommend inSign to other health/care facilities?
“Yes, although we see its successful implementation in our processes as a competitive advantage.”
Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
“The example of outpatient care services shows clearly how sensitive health data can be processed via inSign. Therefore, leave your servers in Germany. This is very important to many in our environment.”
